UFC 105 is in desperate need for an intriguing main event. The UFC is looking at pairing Randy "The Natural" Couture (16-10) up against Brandon "The Truth" Vera (11-3). It was rumored after his loss to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira that Couture would drop back down to 205. It appears as though those rumors are becoming a reality. Couture who has beat the likes of Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz and Tim Sylvia will be entering the fight with back to back losses. Couture was stopped in second round by Brock Lesnar at UFC 91.

I have no clue. There are other 205ers that deserve it more. Randy will have one win at 205. Don't know why he'd deserve a title shot

Yeah, I doubt Vera will get a title shot with a win. It is in Couture contract for the fight

He is champ because it is good for the UFC. He never really earned his title shot.
